These peacock colors of Mystic Topaz are the result of depositing a very thin layer of titanium onto natural earth-mined genuine blue or silver (clear) topaz ("vapor deposition", a permanent treatment which will not fade). Clean these earrings as you would any of your fine jewels. We don't recommend steam cleaners or ultra sonic cleaners for any fine gemstone. Warm (not hot) soapy water and clear water rinse will safely clean any precious jewels without risk of damage. For pierced ears, with post/butterfly clutch backs.
