This classy big mixed-cut oval is 13x18 mm (13.50 carats) Golden Yellow Citrine is 4-prong set on a very substantial wide double split shank band of highly polished 14 karat solid white gold: almost a half ounce of gold, (which set a record price in late 2009 over $1,200 per ounce and expected to keep climbing). The immaculately clean mixed-cut oval Citrine gives extra sparkle due to the double cut given by the gem-cutter: a standard oval cut combined with an additional step cut, for at least twice the amount of light being reflected back out of the gemstone to sparkle back at you!
