Estate style design with a modern dimensional flair, featuring genuine baguette natural Diamonds. 4 exceptionally clean, very bright baguette-cut genuine, earth-mined White Diamonds (nearly colorless, G color, VS clarity) are bezel set in an elevated solid 14-karat White Gold station as the centerpiece of this elegant two-tone 14K Yellow & White Gold ring. Surrounding the central diamond station are 10 baguette-cut and 4 princess-cut Diamonds prong-set in white gold. The row of baguette cut Diamonds along the shank is also raised, to catch more light, for extra sparkle and interest. The ring shank is crafted into an elegant, lightly carved, substantially heavy, highly polished solid 14-karat yellow gold band, with 4 more baguettes and 8 princess-cut Diamonds set into white gold on each side (38 Diamonds total, 1.48 carats total weight, minimum; they may weigh slightly more, but will not weigh any less). This lovely ring has a gorgeous profile, interesting details, is very elegant and substantially heavy, with one more small round brilliant-cut Diamond set into a triangle crafted just under each of the north and south ends of the ring, in polished white gold. Every place you look on this mesmerizing ring there is another area of interest to enchant and delight. The Diamonds on the shanks of the ring do not come so far down the shanks as to rub against or irritate the fingers on either side; the designer crafted this beauty so well that the Diamonds do not touch the fingers alongside. Very comfortable to wear, and one you'll fall in love with, with its flattering, slenderizing "emerald-cut" look on the hand. This ring, with its substantial weight of gold and the quality of these Diamonds could not be replicated at today's prices for what we paid for this luscious ring. Gold prices reached a record high. over $1,200 per ounce, in November 2009 (and Diamond prices as well, with experts predicting both prices to continue rising). It was most difficult to take proper photos, as the glare from the diamonds made the pictures look "over-exposed"; we had to shade the ring for photography. SO much more beautiful in real life!
