Two wonderfully clean 4x5mm heart-shaped Tanzanites (.80 carat total weight) are prong-set into echoing heart shaped settings of 18-karat white gold. Surrounding each Tanzanite heart are 13 eye-clean round-cut Diamonds in bead settings. More bead-set Diamonds continue part way around the curved split shank (62 diamonds, .35 carats total diamond weight). The elongated shape of the face of this double-heart ring is very slenderizing and flattering to any womans' hand. The delicate-looking but substantially weighty, well crafted 4 gram band is highly polished solid 18K White Gold. We photographed this ring with 16x magnification (a jewelers loupe is 10x) to show all the detail, so any surprises will be good ones. All gemstones are natural, genuine earth-mined.
These fine heart-shaped genuine AA Tanzanite gemstones are excellent clarity in a medium color BLUE to PERIWINKLE PURPLE, with even, moderate saturation, very good pleochroism and some hints of TERTIARY PINK. Pleochroism is when a stone such as a Tanzanite, looks more blue or more purple, often with some tertiary pink or red flashes, depending on the light source and how the light strikes the gemstone. The Tanzanite gems have excellent clarity. The Diamonds are eye clean, bright and sparkling.
